As
you may or may not be aware, on February 17th 2009 the FCC will
require all full-power television broadcast stations to stop broadcasting
in analog format and broadcast only in digital format. |
 |
|
In
an effort to preclude the loss of local channel reception when this
happens, you may need to convert these digital channels back to
an analog format so that existing televisions can continue to receive
local TV programming. |
| |
| |
 |
If
you are currently getting your local channels from a DBS provider
like Dish Network or DirecTV, no changes will be required.
On the other hand, if you have a local antenna and re-transmit the
local channels with a signal processor or amplifier, you will need
to add digital to analog converters or purchase programming from
a DBS provider like SMS and add the appropriate equipment. |

| |
If
you are uncertain about what type of system you currently employ,
please feel free to call and we will help you determine what actions
need to be taken. |
